By Plane…
You can catch a flight from Atlanta to connect to Panama City or Ft. Walton Beach. Check with your travel agency to find out the airline of your choice.
The Panama City-Bay County International Airport is serviced by Delta, USAir Express and Northwest Airlink. The Okaloosa Air Terminal in Fort Walton Beach is serviced by Delta, Northwest, Air Tran and American. When you arrive you will have to arrange for a limo service or car rental to take you to 30-A, for there is no public transportation as of yet. The drive from Panama City is approximately 45 minutes and from Ft. Walton approximately an hour.
By Car…
Whether heading East or West, hop on Interstate 10 and exit on County Road 331 or the Defuniak Springs Exit and head South. You will travel approximately 25 miles and will reach Freeport. There 331 will run into Hwy. 20.
- Take a left on 20 for approximately 1.1 miles. You will see signs for the continuation of 331 heading south.
- Turn right and travel for approximately 15 miles until 331 ends at Hwy. 98.
- Take a left on 98 and travel approximately 1.5 miles.
- Turn right at the intersection of County Road 283 and travel 1.5 miles. This will take you to Scenic Hwy. 30-A at Grayton Beach, the approximate mid-point of the 19 mile road.
